The Happiest Girl

I´m the happiest girl in the world..
Y todo por que hoy desperté y escuché el primer sencillo de mi grupo favorito del mundo y de la vida: Depeche Mode.

La obsesión y la devoción han comenzado de nuevo... 10 años ya han pasado desde que en abril de 1999 organizamos un tributo a Depeche Mode en mi rancho natal, al cual creiamos que nadie asistiría y ahora se ha convertido en un evento memorable para los fans (que yo creía pocos) pero salieron de todos lados.
10 años han pasado también desde que conocí a mis devotos favoritos..

Y más de 10 años desde que, buscando fans de Depeche Mode en el chat del Mirc desde una ciudad tamaulipeca, encontré a KimberlyClark (PyBy), quien se ha convertido en mi segunda madre y mi gran amiga.

Y en un noviembre de 1998 una pequeña quinceñera escuchaba a Depeche apagando las velitas de su pastel de XV, sin vals, ni chambelanes, ni vestido de crinolina... pero con dos amigos y hermanos, gracias Maurrissey, gracias A. Depeche. :)

Gracias por el mejor regalo... un disco nuevo. Y gracias a todas las personas que he conocido por esta devoción. Gracias por ser parte de la música y de mi vida.

Movies I´ve seen in the last couple of weeks

1. I´m Not There from Todd Haynes.. The multiple lifes of Bob Dylan. Great movie, full of Haynedian moments.. it reminds me to Velvet Goldmine in a lot of senses including actors, camera angles, edition, colours, dialogues.. a must for music lovers. And Cate Blanchete.. divine as always.




2. Van Helsing.. I must say I was expecting much more from this movie.. I fell sleep in the middle of it..

3. Coraline. Amazing stop motion film.. It took almost three years to finnish it and I can see why. They use around 15,000 different face expressions for each character, First they made it in 3d and then print in resin. It is a handcraft masterpiece. And I want to have a garden and blue hair, just like Coraline has.

2005: I had the pleasure to direct what it was my first music video for my friend Helder and his project Isis Signum with german singer Sara Noxx in vocals.
2008: Helder asked me to do a remix of the video because Prusia Records will release an special DVD and they want to include this video in it.
I did this in a couple of days and we are very happy with the results. Hope you like it too.

3. Sin Bandera.. they suffer so much.. always for love and for a woman.. somebody should shot them so they can stop suffering.. if they want to die.. they should just die in silence..

I had this song since november, but I hadn´t really payed attention to it until my good friend Marco asked me: do you have Crystal Castles? and he played Untrust us in my ipod.. and we dance.. and i thought that this song is fantastic... so.. Britney, Paris, Madonna.. Trust Crystal Castles!!
